Ah ma's birthday at Ban Heng

It was not as happy as i thought because the first time we met up was bombed shelled again...xian. Anyhow, just know that it's for ah ma. How many more of such yrs can we celebrate for her. Things that's not right, we will refrain fr doing again. Will continue to go and visit her as often as possible.

The food is good but the company isnt so comfortable i think. Just learn to give and take. Anyway it is not I that liveth but Christ liveth in me. Must learn this lesson of SELF DENIAL.

All things more or less done, can go and deliver anytime.

1st Wedding Anniversary @ Sentosa -1st Dec

We arrived before noon on that Saturday. Thank God for journey mercies and a free parking lot. After checking in, we went around the island.

It was a hot afternoon, we managed to get a good sit near the front to get the best shot.The dolphin show was entertaining.This species of dolphin gets more pink as they age.

Outing to Botanical Gardens!

Deepavali this year was well spent. Had a good catch up with Mabeline and serna over Bontanica Gardens. Unlike previous times, we went to the other portion, facing Orchard side. It was really fascinating. I like the food court the best cos it serves avocado smoothie =)

We spent the afternoon sun bathing, welll cos we didnt bring umbrella. But the sun was good and the time seont was even more memorable.

The Eventful week-29thOct-3rd Nov

School is having sec 3 extended programme now. I am only taking Chem for Sec 3A so not too haevy for me. Somehow, my cought starts coming back after i started on my first lesson, it does not help with the painting going on around the school. Everywhere, esp the science lab smell of paint. The last straw came on Tues noon, after taking beef noodles and chi chating with CEF ppl at HK cafe, i went home to rest. Reached home ard 3+ and slept from then on. Well, the next time i woke up was...7:10 pm. First time so exhausted. I took my shower and left wioth dearie to ah ma's house for dinner.

I am very glad that dearie came home early just for me. He cam back to revise and also keep watch over me.

I took MC the next 2 days from Daily Medical. Doc Adele seemed uneasy when i disclosed to her about my patent TB condition. She inched backward and tried to be empathatic about my condition. She assured me that if i need more MC just go to her again. This is what i did on fri cos Thurs night i cant seem to rest properly. Got up many times to empty throat again. Dr Adele told me that she came across Active TB patients with white phlegm too. Oh dear!!

Anyway i have already fixed appt with Dr Chee(TTSH) and will be seeing her on Monday.

What an "eventful" week. God is good. I had a good time on Thurs with dearie. We had prata at Causurina followed by time at Pungool end. The breeze was soothing to my lungs and the scencery was sedating.

xuan xuan is still as active as before. Hope she is growing well inside.

Marking Period is finally over!

I am so glad that marking period has finally come to an end. Actually finished on Mon morning but took a pile fr Pam's and helped her with it. Compared to previous years, i find myself better at pacing my marking and setting realistic datelines towards the date. Finish keying SA2 for 1A, left 3A.

Today was the the Grad ceremony for the students. The ceremony wasnt as touching as i expected. In fact, i feel a lot of "leng chang" but guessed the teachers are too busy with stuff. i am off loaded from a lot of things which i feel "insecure" cos might lead me to a D. Well its a lesson to learn to trust in God and His perfect Providence.

I passed my Driving Test

Cant believe it...this time i passed with a score of 16! Thank God for his merceis overflowing.

I reached KUTC at 8 am sharp to pay for my outstanding bills before proceeding to the warm up rm. But alas, the sir told me my doc's letter was unacceptableas there was not a certified "fit" on the letter. I was struck on the spot cos he suggested me to go back. But i am not going to do so after coming such a long way. I went to see Mr Lee Cheok Sun who help me think of an alternative: fax another letter in. Called dearie to call in clinic which opens at 9 am! while i go on for my warm up. I was already half hearted during the warm up after all the hiccups. Tried my best to be focused and not think whether he can get thru the phone on time.

After warm up i rushed back to see Mr Lee, ask for his fax no, then sms dearie. Sat down to wait and pray.

Its already 9 am, time for all documents to be submitted. Mr Lee left for ta while, i called up the clinic again. Finally got thru, they told me they have faxed over.

I rushed to the exam rm where the briefing has already started. All eyes were looking at me but i just sat down and listen to the testers givng the instructions. He asked me where's the doc's letter, i told him on the way.

After the briefing, i rushed back to Mr Lee's office but still cant find him. Finally he's back then i told him the letter has been faxed over.

All happen in seconds and by 9 15 am i am back to the exam rm with the hot letter in hand. I set there to wait for my tester patiently.

I am actually the last one to get the tester, Mr Asmail. He asked for my letter and scrutinised on it. Then i got in the car and start my exam.

All went smooth except // parking, i actually touch the pole ( not knock over la) . The rest was fine

What a memorable day. In the eving, i start my virgin journey from mum;s place to the petrol kiosk with chuna nd heng. Had a gd laugh man. Anyway, it paid off. All the $ and efforts that were invested.

Life has many stepping stones, some big, some small, some are rough or others are easy to walk on. At the end, they all bring me to my destination.

TBCU

It was my first time to TBCU in my whole life. That day was on Tuesday, 25th Sept. The gp of 5B teachers and students went that afternoon.

We took the jab and left for home after that. This is the Skin (Mantoux) test

3 days later, on the fri, we went make to take the measurements.

A total of 5 teachers and 3 students were aksed to take x-ray of their lungs for further examination as the swell on the jab area was above the limit.

After the x-ray, we went back to the room to wait for the "verdict". Kay seng, Meng Han and Yao Ming don t need to take the medicine, INH. However the rest of us : Mr Woo, Mrs Chew, chandra and myself with Huimin have to take. Altho the x-ray shows that there is nothing wroong with our lungs so far.

2 shocks within a day: taking x-ray in my state? Taking INH? when it comes with side effects... So far most of them already complained of symptoms like rashes, bloatedness and fevrish. Went to consuly Dr Tan and Dr Benedict. read up in the literature, talk to staff nurses from TBCU. We finally decided to delay the 6-month treatment till after delivery.

These months are ups and downs. Seems to have more troughs. Taught me esp to rely on God more and look up to Him for direction.

Good times spent together!

Memorable night at Turf City with all. We had BBQ mushroom, beef, mutton, Pineapple, squids, etc. Kindda good company. We also saw Elder Chia with his family. Thank God for gd time with family.

Today just 3 days after National Day. We went to have steamboat dinner + Fireworks show. It has been quite a while since we last had a dine out. Ah ma was exceptionally happy. When she knew abt it, she actually went on her own accord to bath. Take a look at the video. dearie cant join us as he is not well =(. Tian en just came back from Bangkok.

It's September holidays!!!

Finally reached 3/4 of the year. Looking at the months of labour and toil, can take a gd break. Ha=)
